Got it’s Weekly Report
Introduction
Crunch time was upon us. Through hard work and dedication, ourhas completed the brochure designs, business cards, stickers, and ruler merch. With guidance from our design mentor, we navigated the printing process and brought our ideas into reality. We explored ways to make our brand stand out during the showcase and to Got It’s simplicity and user-friendliness.
More importantly, we began crafting our final presentation script to compete alongside other product pitches.
Design Team
Finalized the brochure to showcase the main features of our app while also mentioning the mobile supplement.
The business cards are finalized, each featuring two lead titles to recognize every team member’s contributions.
The team also created formula-themed electrical stickers, branded rulers with our logo, and snacks for the event—a message telling apprentices that we’ve got their backs.
Coding
The dashboard was finalized—responsive, functional, and simple.
The AI was functional. It waas able to use sandbox data to create summaries, simplifications, and a mindmap.
Allocations were made throughout the team to split the work—ensuring that all team members had a part of the development process. This also allowed the Coding Team to focus more on back-end development, whereas the Designers, who were experienced in front-end development, handled the styles and layout.
Presentation
The team crafted a unique script that addressed our problem, the value proposition, and offered our solution by showcasing the website. We used compelling words to show how dedicated and serious we are with our topic. We also wrote a strong ending that ties everything together.
Blockers
If time permits, Got It has the potential to build a strong brand that can be used by apprentices through their journey in the electrical trade. Since we don’t live in that reality, we focus on building a high-quality MVP that still excels at its core purpose. We will polish our script more, be more engaging and put flair to capture our audience. We will develop hard-coded screens for last-minute study guide features that hopefully attract VIPs in the showcase.
What’s Next?
Finalize the completed script.
Bring everything together to ensure a seamless transition during the big day.
